Experience & Interests: Dustin Staples was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He is a board-certified physician assistant who has been working in the specialty of otolaryngology since 2019. He is a veteran who has proudly serviced as a Navy Corpsman in the Naval Medical Corps. His military service includes being a medic for Naval aviation, Marine infantry, and Naval construction battalions. Dustin received his BA degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2012 and completed his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from South University in 2016. After completion of education, he worked in urgent care and then emergency medicine at the local hospitals in the Savannah, Georgia area. His recent medical experience includes working in the field of otolaryngology, specializing in the treatment of disorders of the sinuses, allergy management, ear problems, hearing loss, thyroid dysfunction, and balance related issues.
Dustin and his wife were active in dog rescue in their hometown of Savannah, Georgia and are devoted animal advocates. They have three chihuahuas and two cats. He enjoys reading books about cultural and biological anthropology, hobby painting, biking, and playing guitar. Dustin is passionate about patient care and believes in treating patients with the dignity and respect they deserve while addressing their Ear, Nose, and Throat concerns. He is grateful for the opportunity to help serve our Albuquerque community.
