Experience:  Prior to joining NMCC, Dr. Hicks had over 8 years of pulmonary critical care experience. He is one of the few pulmonologists in the Albuquerque area offering and performing Endobronchial Ultrasounds (EBUS). 

Personal Biography:  Dr. Hicks moved to Albuquerque in 2014. His practice includes care of pulmonary patients in the clinic setting as well as the critical care setting in the local Albuquerque hospitals.

Dr. Hicks is the immediate past-president of the New Mexico Thoracic Society and is very active in the activities of the society. He also serves as the Chief of Staff at Lovelace Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Hicks is married with two daughters. As a family they enjoy outdoor activities, their pets, and traveling to Puerto Rico to visit family. Dr. Hicks is fluent in English and Spanish.
